The Company Chairman and Managing Director Richard White, the company founder developed Tracker<<Back from a deep understanding of environmental issues over many years. He continues to serve the company as Managing Director and Chairman. He has also since 1997 been involved as a stakeholder in the Environment Agency’s Tyre Recycling forum which have developed a coherent strategy for legalising the movement and disposal of used tyres. Richard previously set up and managed a successful software development and marketing company called Synergist Ltd. It was set up to serve the Paperless Document Management Industry and Client Relationship Management service sector with Hospital groups and Local Authorities. Synergist had won many assignments of particular note which involved the development of a paperless Duty of Care supplier management document library system. A Local Authority that implemented the system found that they could remove shelf upon shelf of lever arch archives taking up huge amounts of completely wasted space in their offices. They included the scanning and tracking of gate consignment tickets collected at the many waste recycling centres the Authority ran. Once installed, there was an immediate improvement in the relationships between the Authority and their clients and suppliers. This came about as a result of being able to provide information from an enquiry immediately instead of having to call back once the relevant documentation could be found. The system was as unique as it was adaptable. Unique because it used multiple keyword searches to find consignments just by carrier or vehicle registration number and type of load. Adaptable because the same system is now being used to track millions of medical records, machinery sales records, service team records, appointments and log sheets, company assets, site visit reports and spare parts used. The success of Synergist led to US investment. This then allowed it to be redeveloped in early 2000 as a fully web based application adopting all the award winning functionality. Synergist renamed the product FileVision since which it has attracted internationally clients. FileVision is now being used heavily by the NHS and Private Health Providers both in the UK and worldwide. Co Director and Financial ControllerJon Wright has also been involved with Tracker<<Back as Finance and IT director since its inception. He has had substantial experience in audit management systems, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979, and has been deploying specialist system programs Jon remains a consultant in 2 Chartered Accountancy practices, and for a major Healthcare company in the South West, as well as running his own IT consultancy business. Jon Wright has developed the 24/7 web accounting solution used by Tracker<<Back which provides a full audit of the high volume transactions on a daily basis. Concept Web Accounting is used very heavily in the health services sector as well as international manufacturing, sales and maintenance services. since 1986. Jon was articled to a major firm of Chartered Accountants in the City and was involved in audits of several major public companies. After qualifying he started his own practice. The business began to specialise in IT solutions, and was featured in several national computer magazines at the time. Jon was then headhunted by a major client, and developed specialised software solutions for the company dealing with complex multi currency and intrastat movements of their products. Following this, the product was developed to become a core accounting solution for medium to large-scale companies, and the software has now been deployed in several companies throughout the UK. From 2001, it was realised that Web based solutions would be the future for most business systems, having the simplicity of being deployable from any computer in the world, without specialist installation. To this end, the accounting programs were completely re-written, firstly through Microsoft ASP accessing SQL server, and to-date in Microsoft ASP.Net.
